Triathlete Nikko Huelgas gives the Philippines its second gold medal in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games on Monday, August 21 at the Water Sports Complex in Putrajaya.
Huelgas posted a time of 1:59:30, an improvement from his 2:04:32 in 2015. He was also responsible for the Philippines' second gold medal in the Singapore SEA Games two years ago.
Meanwhile, John Chicano bagged silver with his time of 2:01:27, as the Philippines totals its medal haul to 7.
